01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "user") and the operator of Hidden Self ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms govern your use of the Hidden Self mobile application and all related services. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING HIDDEN SELF. BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE APP.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years of age to use Hidden Self. By using the app, you represent and warrant that: • You are at least 17 years old • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement • Your use of the app does not violate any applicable laws or regulations We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 17 years of age.

06Subscription and Payments

Free Tier Hidden Self offers a free tier that includes basic journaling features and a limited number of AI-powered entry analyses (currently 3 analyses). Free tier features may be modified, reduced, or discontinued at any time. Hidden Self Pro — Monthly $9.99 USD per month (or equivalent local currency as determined by the App Store or Google Play). Hidden Self Pro — Annual $79.99 USD per year (or equivalent local currency). Annual subscriptions include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Billing and Renewal Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage and cancel via your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds All purchases are final. Refunds are governed exclusively by Apple's or Google's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. Price Changes We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance.

07Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to: • Use the app if you are under 17 years of age • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code, AI prompts, or underlying systems • Attempt to circumvent, bypass, or manipulate subscription or payment systems • Use the app to store content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems • Use automated tools to interact with the app or its APIs • Share your account credentials with others We reserve the right to terminate your account immediately and without notice for violation of these terms.

08Intellectual Property

Our Property The Hidden Self application, its design, branding, name, logo, AI prompt systems, card definitions, and all underlying technology and content created by us are our exclusive intellectual property. Your Content Your journal entries and check-in responses remain your own. You retain full ownership of content you write. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the app's services. We claim no ownership over your personal writing.

09Disclaimer of Warranties

HIDDEN SELF IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR DATA PRESERVATION.

10Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR DECISIONS MADE BASED ON APP CONTENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 CAD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
