01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "user") and Isochasm Labs Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), operator of Hidden Self. These Terms govern your use of the Hidden Self mobile application and all related services. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING HIDDEN SELF. BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE APP.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years of age to use Hidden Self. By using the app, you represent and warrant that: • You are at least 17 years old • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement • Your use of the app does not violate any applicable laws or regulations We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 17 years of age.

It is expressly NOT: • A medical device or medical service of any kind • A mental health service, therapy platform, or counselling service • A clinical assessment tool or diagnostic instrument • A crisis intervention service • A substitute for professional psychological, psychiatric, or medical care • Regulated or approved by any health authority, medical board, or regulatory body THE APP MAY GENERATE BRIEF AI OBSERVATIONS, LABEL CERTAIN ENTRIES USING GENERAL CATEGORIES (SUCH AS "MILESTONE," "BREAKTHROUGH," OR "AVOIDANCE"), OR AUTOMATICALLY GROUP RELATED ENTRIES INTO "CHAPTERS" DISPLAYED AS PLANETS OR CONSTELLATIONS. We make NO representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated observation, classification, or chapter summary, or its suitability for your specific circumstances. You should NOT make significant personal, medical, financial, legal, or life decisions based on content generated by Hidden Self.

05Your Responsibility and Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that: • You use Hidden Self entirely at your own risk • You are solely responsible for how you interpret, act upon, or share content generated by the app • You will not use the app as a substitute for professional mental health care • You will seek professional help if you are experiencing mental health difficulties • The reflective nature of journaling may surface difficult feelings — you assume responsibility for managing your emotional wellbeing

06Guest (Anonymous) Use and Accounts

Hidden Self allows you to use the app immediately without creating an account. Your data is tied to an anonymous, device-specific identifier in this case. If you do not create a full account (with an email and password), you accept the risk that access to your data may be lost if you lose, reset, or replace your device, or delete and reinstall the app. Creating an account allows your data to persist independently of any single device. Purchasing a subscription requires a full account with an email and password — this protects you from losing access to a paid subscription if something happens to an anonymous, device-only session.

07Subscription and Payments

Free Tier Hidden Self offers a free tier that includes ongoing daily journaling and access to your growing universe indefinitely. Free tier features may be modified, reduced, or discontinued at any time with or without notice. Hidden Self Pro — Monthly Available as a monthly subscription at USD $4.99 per month (or equivalent local currency as determined by the App Store or Google Play). Hidden Self Pro — Annual Available as an annual subscription at USD $39.99 per year (or equivalent local currency). Annual subscriptions include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. After the free trial period, the annual subscription fee will be charged automatically. Billing and Renewal Subscriptions are billed through and managed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings. IMPORTANT: Deleting your Hidden Self account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — you must cancel it separately through Apple or Google. Refunds All purchases are final. Refunds are governed exclusively by Apple's or Google's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or Google Play Support. Price Changes We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will take effect at your next renewal period.

08Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to: • Use the app if you are under 17 years of age • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code, AI prompts, or underlying systems • Attempt to circumvent, bypass, or manipulate subscription or payment systems • Use the app to store content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems • Use automated tools to interact with the app or its APIs • Attempt to overwhelm or interfere with our servers or infrastructure • Share your account credentials with others We reserve the right to terminate your account immediately and without notice for violation of these terms.

09Intellectual Property

Our Property The Hidden Self application, its design, branding, name, logo, AI prompt systems, and all underlying technology and content created by us are our exclusive intellectual property, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Your Content Your journal entries, photos, and videos remain your own. You retain full ownership of content you write or upload. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the app's services (including AI processing and cloud storage). We claim no ownership over your personal content.

10Privacy

Your use of Hidden Self is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the app, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

11Disclaimer of Warranties

HIDDEN SELF IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR DATA PRESERVATION.

12Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR DECISIONS MADE BASED ON APP CONTENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 CAD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hidden Self and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the app, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another person or entity.

14Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Hidden Self at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings.

15Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

16Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Hidden Self after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

18Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of Hidden Self.
